Originally captured at petal Point, in the North east, this beautiful bird was absolutely huge. I enjoyed watching it begging for food as local fishermen were cleaning abalone they had caught that morning. For me, the water drop on the tip of the beak added a certain something to this shot and ensured it would become one of my personal favourites. many thanks to Shane for his excellent photoshop skills in removing the original background to help create something that seems as though it is alive.
